Overview

Welcome to the Unimart Admin documentation. This admin template is prepared for a modern dashboard workflow using Vite and Tailwind CSS.

Use this guide to install dependencies, understand the source structure, run the local development server, and create a production build for your admin panel.

Requirements

  • Node.js 18 or later is recommended.
  • npm, yarn, or pnpm package manager.
  • Basic knowledge of Vite, Tailwind CSS, and component-based UI development.

Project Structure

unimart/
β”œβ”€β”€ unimart-frontend/ # Frontend template (see Frontend docs)
└── unimart-admin/ # Admin template (this guide)
β”œβ”€β”€ src/ # Admin pages, components, routes, layouts
    β”‚ └── assets/ # Images, icons, fonts, static assets
    β”œβ”€β”€ dist/ # Production build output
    β”œβ”€β”€ index.html
    β”œβ”€β”€ tailwind.config.js
    β”œβ”€β”€ vite.config.js
    └── package.json

Installation

After downloading the template package, go to the admin folder and install dependencies:

cd unimart/unimart-admin
npm install
npm run dev

Tailwind Setup

  • Keep your Tailwind entry file imported in the main app entry, usually src/main.js or src/main.jsx.
  • Confirm the main stylesheet includes @tailwind base;, @tailwind components;, and @tailwind utilities;.
  • Make sure tailwind.config.js scans every admin template path, such as ./index.html and ./src/**/*.{js,ts,jsx,tsx,html}.

Run And Build

  • npm run dev Starts the local Vite server for development and live reload.
  • npm run build Creates the optimized production files, usually inside the dist folder.
  • npm run preview Serves the production build locally so you can check it before deployment.
